Monday 18 February 2002 - Advance Warning of Road works

On Monday the 18th February 2002 at 10am in Malden Road, Worcester Park about 200 metres north of Approach Road Thames Water will be making a new foul water connections into the Barrat Homes Development..

The Road will be reduced to a single alternative traffic flow controlled by
signals. The work is expected to last for 7 days with the road being fully
reopened ob the evening of 24 February 2002.

Advance Warning signs to be erected 16 February 2002 Dealys expected.

Friday 25 Jan 2002 - South Lane / Amberwood Rise
South Lane has been closed in the vicinity of Amberwood Rise (under Section 14 (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1990) so that there is no access on to the A3. This is due a collapsed sewer in the area. This closure may be in place for 2 to 3 weeks.

Old News:

The Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames has been notified of the following Street Works during the Spring School Holidays 26/5/01 to 3/6/01

A3 Kingston by Pass

Starting 29/5/01 at 1am for 11 days between Malden and Tolworth Roundabout renewal of the Tolworth Rise South verge safety fence. The A3 southbound out of town will be reduced to two lanes.

Kingston Road junction with  Dickerage Lane

Starting 29/5/01 Telewest will be constructing new cable ducts across the junction of Dickerage lane. Traffic in Kingston Road will be reduced to a single alternative flow controlled by temporary signals. The work is due to last 4 days.

This is part of a scheme to install new ducting between King Henrys Road and South Lane. (Approx. 1000 metres)


Richmond Road

On Sunday the Sunday 27th May 2001 Seeboard will be installing new ducts across Richmond Road into the new Sainsbury site. Richmond Road will be reduced to a single Lane controlled by temporary traffic signals. This was originally scheduled for 3rd June 2001.

EMERGENCY GAS REPAIRS - A3 Kingston Bye Pass 18-May-2001

The gas main has now been repaired. The A.3. Kingston By Pass will be fully open today 18th May 2001 in time for the evening peak. Schedule time for reopening 1pm. (Dependant on weather conditions)
