After a long campaign by Kingston Liberal Democrat MP Edward Davey for the council to clean graffiti, the Conservative Council administration has finally buckled to pressure to clean up reported graffiti during the months of February and March.  Liberal Democrat councillors are now urging the public to report locations with the borough where graffiti is present (which can include businesses and private property) so that the build up can be brought down to manageable levels.  The police will be specifically targeting graffiti offenders, who should now be aware that such unsocial behavior is no longer to be tolerated.
