| New Planning Guidelines Proposed for Kingston Hospital | |
|
31 October, 2001 Kingston Council is consulting local residents on revised planning guidelines for the Kingston Hospital site at Galsworthy Road. A draft Planning and Urban Design Brief has been published looking at how the hospital can continue to develop its services without harming the local environment and the amenity of local residents. A public meeting will be held at 7.30pm on Tuesday 13th November at St Paul's School, Princes Road, Kingston upon Thames to discuss the draft Brief. |
The meeting will provide an opportunity to find out more detail and make
comments about the proposals, which consider the siting and design of any new
building, landscaping of the site and issues of car parking and access for
visitors and staff.
The consultation period will continue until Monday 19th November 2001 and the views received will be considered before the planning brief is finalised. The full brief is available for inspection at libraries in Kingston and Tudor Drive, at the Environmental Services reception in Guildhall 2 and on the Council's web site www.kingston.gov.uk. |
