Conservative Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for Richmond Park remains firmly in the dark. Unlike Lib Dem MP Dr Jenny Tonge the Conservative candidate has stated to the Local Press that he was not opposed to a fifth terminal at Heathrow. Commenting on the latest Conservative divisions Lib Dem Leader Cllr Derek Osbourne said "This latest U-turn and continuing divisions highlight the troubles within the Local Conservatives. When the Conservatives proposed withdrawing Kingston from the Airports Consortium we opposed the move and we will continue to oppose the Conservative PPC in his attempts to allow terminal 5 to go ahead." |
