Saturday 30 June - Japanese Music & Dance FREE -  Canbury Gardens, 3pm

As part of the Japan 2001 Festival, Kingston's Heritage Arts & Tourism Services are presenting a programme of Japanese  traditional and contemporary music and dance at the Canbury Gardens Bandstand.   The Japan-UK Rainbow Tour 2001 features dancer Hiroko Kawanishi and music from Hiroki Okano with the Tenkoo Orchestra together with Dave Goodman and Kathy Manuell.  The Tenkoo Orchestra was very well received last year during Kingston Theatre Trust's Claiming The Space festival.  The tour is sponsored by The Japan Foundation and The Great Britain Sasakawa Foundation. 

So, grab some sushi, some sake and some sunshine as well as some Japanese sights and sounds this Saturday afternoon.

Tuesday 15th January    -  New Malden Police Sector meeting will be held in the New Malden Baptist

             Church hall    -  7.30pm. The meeting is open to residents and community representatives.
